JigglyPuff Amigurumi Pattern

Updated: Dec 30, 2022

This is my first crochet pattern that I have designed myself! If you make use of this pattern, please share your work with me. I love to see your results. instagram: @knitmakarps

Please do not sell my design or claim that it is your own. Give credit where it's due please.

I tried to replicate the Jigglypuff in Smah Ultimate as shown here, there are some slight difference, but I'd say pretty good as a first. There are plans to make a Version 2! :)

Once the body is almost full, take a cloth/plastic bag (can use a sandwich bag) and add weighted pellets into it. This should provide weight to jigglypuffs body so it remains upright when knocked around.

Felt Crafting (Eyes, Ear Hole)

Ear Hole:

Take the black felt and cut out ear holes as shown in the resulting image.

Eyes:

tip: I cut out paper templates to help myself provide further adjustments to the size before actually cutting out the felt. You can see yellow paper templates in the below picture

1: Cut out a white circle with the diameter that is 1/3 the diameter of jigglypuffs body.

Ex) My Jigglypuff was ~4 inches high. So I cut out the larger white piece to be ~1.33 inches wide.

As for the next 2 pieces, these measurements are based on the size of my jigglypuffs body, try to use your best judgement based on the white circle you've created from the previous step

2: Blue circle: 1 inch diameter

3: Catch Light: .5 inch diameter

Once all parts are made, begin placing the parts to the body with needles to allow slight adjustments.

MOUTH

In the image below, I used some spare black yarn to help with where I would eventually sew in the mouth in comparison to the rest of pieces placed together

For the final result, Use black embroidery floss
